Drill Bit Manufacturing and Reconditioning
The factory manufactures drill bits and drilling tools for oil and gas, water well, mining, geothermal, construction, workover and completion applications. Production covers PDC, tricone, button, drag, milling, workover, rebuilt and rerun product families.
Manufacturing
Production processes include material preparation, CNC machining, heat treatment, welding and brazing, cutter or insert assembly, thread machining and final assembly.
Inspection
Inspection covers dimensions, connection gauges, hardness, cutter or insert placement, nozzle and circulation passages, runout and the finished product condition before packing.
Custom Production
Bits can be produced around the required diameter, connection, formation, cutter structure, IADC selection, hydraulic arrangement and operating parameters supplied with the inquiry.
Engineering Review
Product selection and design review can use formation, hole size, depth, rig, connection, WOB, RPM, flow and previous bit performance supplied by the customer.
Rebuild and Rerun Work
Used tools can be evaluated for cleaning, dimensional inspection, cutter or insert replacement, connection repair and reconditioning before a rerun decision is made.
Packing and Documentation
Finished tools can be marked by model and specification, protected for transport and packed with the available product, inspection and shipping documents.
